From Thursday, March 10 at 6 a.m. to Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m., a portion of Nairobi residents will be without water.
The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company said in a statement that the shortfall was caused by a leak at the Ngethu Water Treatment Plant in Gatundu North, Kiambu County, which will result in the plant’s total shutdown.
