Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has reflected on what he described as an unforgettable period for the club after the Gunners secured the Premier League title and celebrated with a massive victory parade through North London.
Arsenal clinched their 14th top-flight league title on May 19, 2026, after Manchester City’s draw against Bournemouth confirmed the Gunners would finish the season at the summit with 85 points.
The North London club capped off their title-winning campaign by lifting the trophy following a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace on May 24. A week later, thousands of supporters lined the streets of North London as the team celebrated their success during a champions parade that reportedly attracted around one million fans dressed in the club’s famous red colors.
Speaking in an Instagram video posted on June 2, Rice described the past few weeks as “an incredible couple of weeks” and praised manager Mikel Arteta for transforming the club into champions.
The England international also commended his teammates for their determination and unity throughout the campaign and thanked supporters for their unwavering backing during the title race.
Rice said the achievement was a testament to Arteta’s long-term rebuilding project and the strong spirit within the squad that helped Arsenal overcome their rivals and reclaim the league crown.
Despite the celebrations, Rice indicated that his attention is now turning to international duty and preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, as he looks to build on a memorable season at club level.
The title marks another major milestone in Arsenal’s resurgence under Arteta and reinforces the club’s return to the summit of English football.
