Why Suffering Ekeza Sacco Members Will Never Forgive TV Anchor Njogu wa Njoroge

Thousands of people from Kikuyu community who invested their hard-earned money in the now troubled Ekeza regret why they heeded advise of Kameme TV anchor Njogu wa Njoroge.

Ekeza Sacco and Gakuyo Real Estate are owned by controversial Bishop David Ngari alias Gakuyo.

When Njogu was presenter at Kameme FM he played a huge role in convincing his unsuspecting listeners to invest in Ekeza.

It however collapsed after Gakuyo spent millions of money in funding former Governor Ferdinand Waititu’s campaign in 2017, causing it to crumble.

Over 50, 000 investors demanind Sh2.4 billion from the sacco took to the streets and DCI to have their money back and their partial anger was on the radio presenter.

Njogu using Kameme FM and his popularity convinced their listeners his investment and land projects were genuine. They joined in big numbers.

When things went south, Njogu distanced himself from the investments and tried to play a clean guy but it was late. Damage had been done.

He told Gakuyo; “I stood with you and even endorsed you…But the minute uliingia siasa, .ukachukua pesa za ekeza ukapeleka kule, that’s when I parted ways with you. You will never change the facts. Ekeza is going down…down….downnnnnnnnn!!!”.

He claimed Gakuyo was a crooked pastor out to swindle poor, unsuspecting investors.

“You call yourself a Bishop?. You are a disgrace to Christianity. But anyway what do you expect from an illiterate who tries to forge a degree from a reputable institution?”.

He added; “The massive withdrawals from Ekeza Sacco has sent a panic button to the rogue bishop. If you have money in Ekeza, rush and get your money back! Don’t be told six months. And I know what I’m talking about. You will than me later”

An irate Gakuyo fought back claiming Njogu owed him money and properties and had joined forces with his political nemesis to crumble his empire.
